Siriously, have I told you about Siriously Delicious?

Now that I have, I can proceed to tell you about the delicious meatloaf I made with her help!
It was one of the most tasty dishes I've ever made (and I don't even like meatloaf).
Furthermore it forced me to open my food processor (yes the one I got for my wedding, last October 3rd) and actually use it.
Homemade breadcrumbs are rad and EASY!
Here's the mouthwatering picture that does it no justice.

Yumo!

Make new friends...

... but keep the old.
To put it mildly, Jillian and I have been friends for a long time.
This journal entry from 1991 is too sweet not to post and cherish!
We knew our friendship was something special from the day we met.
I look forward to growing old with Jillian and having her in my life forever.
Can't wait for her big wedding day - October 9, 2010.

S

Fall...

 ...is for FOOTBALL...

... and much more!  I always thought summers were busy, but this Fall is proving to be just as crazy.  Pre- wedding festivities for Jillian, Julia and Sarah, lots of traveling for work and a trip to Hawaii to celebrate our one year anniversary.  I can hardly believe how fast time flies.
But this isn't about how busy we are.  This is about how surreal it is to be married to your best friend.  It's Fall, so naturally TV series start up again with new shows.  Maybe in the future we'll be bored and want to watch TV in different rooms from one another, but last night we found ourselves trying to game plan our week on how we can watch everything together (despite the fact that he may dislike Gossip Girl and I can't really stand America's Got Talent).  At that moment we both chuckled and laughed at what we were doing.  I never thought I could love someone as much as Shane (I know barf) or that I would be with someone that I really don't grow tired of.  Can't wait to meet him at our favorite place tonight the corner of the couch!

First stop the dinner table for my first attempt at Eggplant Parm!

Baby Mason = Perfection

Congrats to Ashun, Tay and Baby Mason!
Shane and I had the pleasure of meeting Mason 7 days after he was born and just a few days after coming home from the hospital.
He's a beautiful baby and it was so special to watch our dear friends become into incredible parents.

Love at first sight!
Mason sleeps exactly like his daddy with his hands up by his head.

Shane and I look forward to watching Mason grow!
We cannot wait to have one of our own!

Love,
S
